Englewood’s Community Care Clinic receives an 82-thousand dollar grant from the Florida Association of Free and Charitable Clinics.
The clinic on San Casa Drive provides free health services for people 18 to 64 who don’t have health insurance or Medicaid.
Patients must also meet income guidelines or be below the poverty line.
The Sun reports the clinic will use the money to buy equipment for blood and diabetes testing along with heart monitoring.
