Former Charlotte County resident Quinton Paul Handlon, 42 years of age, was arrested in Leon County Florida and served with Charlotte County arrest warrants for Capital Sexual Battery on a child under twelve years of age and four additional counts of sexual battery. The offenses occurred between 2009 and 2013 in Charlotte County.
On Wednesday, May 8, 2013, detectives with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, the local FBI Task Force and law enforcement from the Tallahassee area, served the arrest warrants, taking Handlon into custody without incident.
This case remains an active criminal investigation. No further information will be released at this time.
