A Naples man was arrested Monday after he robbed Portside Tavern in Port Charlotte and left behind his credit card> The sheriff’s office says Jackie Clyde Hardy Jr was drinking at the bar when he told the bartender to give him all the money or he would shoot her. He’d hthough ahead, bringing a department store shopping bag in to hold the loot. After threatening to shot and blow the bar up, Hardy fled, leaving behind a credit card and a hospital bracelet with his name on it. Deputies found Hardy about 20 minutes later in the backyard of a house not far away. He’s jailed on a $20,000 bond.
