Just follow the copper wire…
and you’ll find the alleged thief. That’s what Charlotte County detectives did in Punta Gorda this week. The law arrested 34 year old Eddie Johnson of Dundee road, charging his with burglary and grand theft. Officials say Johnson is already a convicted felon. The owner of Reed’s Rides called CCSO to report about five thousand dollars worth of copper stolen. The owner was wise to spray the copper with blue paint, so all detectives had to do was follow the blue, and found the copper, and the culprit.
