Much of the money that Congress could approve to fight the Zika virus may go to Florida.
Health officials have confirmed 113 cases statewide, more than any other state.
The Obama administration has requested $2 billion for testing, treatment, and research into the virus.
The money would also pay for increased mosquito control.
All of the confirmed Zika cases in Florida have come from people who caught it outside the country.
