Nearly four dozen Special Olympians and 27 boat captains went out on the water yesterday for Venice’s 17th annual Shark’s Tooth Fishing Tournament.
The event marks the unofficial kickoff to the Venice Shark’s Tooth Festival, which officially starts at 4 this evening at the Venice Municipal Airport festival grounds. Tickets are $5 at the door with all proceeds going to Special Olympics.
