First witnesses called today in the trial of a Sarasota teen Shawn Tyson, who’s accused of murdering two British tourists. The witness, who said he was visiting a friend at The Courts in Newtown, told the court he saw victims James Cooper and James Kouzaris walking through the area moments before they were killed. He said the two appeared to be so drunk they couldn’t walk in a straight like. Another witness testified she saw two Black men approach the Brits, one of whom had his hand in one pocket. Moments later, she said she heard several shots.
