Suspensions issued following a fight between two high school football teams have been upheld by the Florida High School Athletic Association. Players from Braden River and North Port got into the altercation outside the locker room after Braden River’s 42-7 win Oct. 2. Seven total players were suspended for four games, ending regular season play for the Braden River players involved. Both schools were fined $250, and all players on each roster must complete an approved sportsmanship program by mid-November.
