Family members of an Englewood boater missing since this past weekend have started their own search efforts after the U.S. Coast Guard called off their searches earlier this week. 48-year-old Jeffery Reinhardt was last seen leaving Stump Pass Marina last Friday morning in his 25-foot boat. The Coast Guard found the boat abandoned and out of gas with the throttle fully engaged near Naples. Reinhardt’s family is asking for anyone with personal or security cameras that face the water to review video footage and to come forward with any information they might find. In the meantime, family members are flying in from out-of-town to help with the search effort.
