The FAA’s awarded Punta Gorda Airport almost $6 million for an expansion project. This grant will be used to double the size of Bailey terminal. The Airport will also increase the number of air gates, enhance security and increase the size of the passenger waiting area. The expansion is expected to cost 8 million dollars in total.
