CCSO’s 2nd annual Junior Law Academy this year for middle school students beginning in June. Things went so well last year, there will be two sessions, 30-students each this year. The Junior Law Academy’s an opportunity to learn more about the Sheriff’s Office and its operations. During the three week program, the participants get classroom training as well as field trips to Sheriff’s Office facilities. The first camp will run from Monday June 2 through Friday June 20, and the second session from Monday June 30 until Friday July 18. There’s a $50 fee to attend the academy, which includes fun days for participating students.
