An Englewood man is listed in serious condition following a vehicle crash on U.S. 41 in Manatee County. According to a Florida Highway Patrol press release, 27-year old Mark Flickinger of Placida was southbound on U.S. 41 north of Bayshore Gardens Parkway just before 1 p.m. yesterday. He rear ended a 2008 Dodge Ram that was stopped in a line of traffic. The impact caused the Ram to strike a Toyota Sequoia, which in turn struck a Chevy 2500. Flickinger was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital for treatment. The Chevy driver was uninjured. The Toyota and Ram drivers suffered minor injuries and were taken to area hospitals.
