An Englewood man is being held without bail at the Charlotte County Jail following a domestic violence incident over the weekend. CCSO reported yesterday that Jason Matthew Finton faces four felony charges, one of which could land him in prison for as much as 30 years. Deputies say Hinton had been out drinking Saturday night, and came home early Sunday and started beating his girlfriend. When she tried to get away, he grabbed her and forced her to stay, continuing the assault. She was able to go to a hospital when he passed out.
