CCSO’s issuing a warning about having a legal parking space in the area of Englewood Beach. A department spokesperson says with folks in for spring break and from out of time, finding a legal parking spot gotten difficult, and people are double parking, parking between trees, on the road and on the bike paths. They say all of this is making it unsafe and dangerous for pedestrians, cyclisys, and emergency vehicles. They want you to know state law says state law allows a $118 fine for improper parking.
