The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an elderly man who disappeared a week ago. Investigators say 84-year-old George Atkinson was last seen Friday June 15, leaving the closing of the sale of his home. He was driving a 1999 Cadillac 4-door sedan with the Florida License plate J3O-ONP. Atkinson is a white male, about 6-feet tall with thin white hair. He also wears glasses.
