Florida’s Division of Elections says people in a third of the state’s counties can start voting next week.
Early voting for the primary Aug. 30 must run from Aug. 20 to Aug. 27, but county supervisors of elections have the power to start sooner.
News Service of Florida reports they also have the power to keep locations open for early voting until Aug. 28.
Charlotte County has facilities open on Monday next week.
