Sarasota County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three men after a traffic stop on North Washington Boulevard in Sarasota led to a loaded weapon and drugs. Deputies determined 19-year old Phillip Richardson Sarasota was driving with a suspended license. Deputies found two bags, one with pot, the other six small baggies of cocaine, and a gun in the truck bed where two other men had been sitting. 26-year old Charles Johnson of Bradenton’s charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of Marijuana. 21-year old Bernard Washington of Sarasota’s charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell and Possession of Marijuana.
