The Sarasota County Library is doing the Dig Into Reading program for kids from infant age to 11 years old. Holly Anderson, Youth Services Coordinator with the Library, says parents and kids can sign up at any of the nine libraries in Sarasota County. Awards are given for reading seven days in a row and everyday of the summer. She says parents reading to babies does count. The program runs through August 10th.
