(PORT CHARLOTTE) Charlotte County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit detectives have identified the man who robbed the C1 Bank in Port Charlotte Tuesday and are asking the public to help locate him.

MCU detectives said a warrant has been issued for 42 year old Eli C. Rogers. His last known address was in the 20300 block of Banner Street in Port Charlotte. Detectives believe Rogers may still be in the area and ask the public to contact MCU Detective Kevin Connolly if they have any information on the whereabouts of Rogers. CCSO received a call Tuesday at 12:27 p.m. from C1 Bank about the robbery at 1950 Tamiami Trail. Detectives said Rogers demanded money from a bank teller and fled with some cash. Rogers is a white male, thin build, dark very short receding hair, and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a grey long-sleeve t-shirt with a pink and a purple logo on the front.
