The death penalty now being sought for a 19-year-old North Port man who’s accused of two separate murders last year. Prosecutors say Katrelle Johnson shot 61-year-old Kenneth Ellis twice in the chest at his Albren Street home last March. Three months later, Johnson is accused of killing 32-year-old Robert Mann during what authorities describe as a botched drug deal in Warm Mineral Springs.
