Fire officials in Englewood have now ruled the death of a local political activist in a house fire accidental. The blaze in August killed 57-year-old Tea Party and republican activist Julie Cotton. The fire at Cotton’s mobile home on Brookwood Drive in Grove City had already totally engulfed the home by the time firefighters arrived. After they put it out, they discovered Cotton’s body in a bedroom. The fire was originally classified as “undetermined in nature” but after investigators learned Cotton was a smoker who also like to burn candles, her death was classified accidental.
