The last of the planes that gave Allegiant Air a reputation for being unreliable and unsafe has finally been retired.

Last week, the airline’s final MD-80 flight was made between Fresno and Las Vegas, where the decades-old plane will now sit.

The MD-80s were at the center of a pair of high-profile investigations into Allegiant’s safety record, including a damning 60 Minutes report back in April.

The planes in question had caused Allegiant to be four times as likely to have mechanical issues than any other airline.
