The Orange Avenue/Main Street intersection in Sarasota temporarily closes as of July 22nd for construction of a new roundabout and relocation of utility lines. The Herald-Tribune reports the closure’s expected to run through September. To give drivers a break, Adelia Avenue’s temporarily being turned into a two way street. There’ll also be detours directing you to use State Street or Lemon Avenue. The work will include New crosswalks, landscaping, and a signature piece of public art piece in the center of the roundabout.
