Sarasota County’s planning and development services department reports limited erosion as most of its becahes from Tropical Storm Colin.
However, the Herald-Tribune reports the storm damaged several dune walkovers and destroyed trees and other vegetation.
The county says Colin did not affect most of the south Siesta Beach nourishment project, but 50 feet of sand disappeared at the southern end of the project near Blind Pass Road.
