CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Dec. 1, 2020) – The National Weather Service is forecasting near freezing temperatures Tuesday night. The Charlotte County Homeless Coalition, 1476 Kenesaw Street, Port Charlotte, will be providing shelter to persons needing refuge from the cold. The shelter will be open to accept guest between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday. The American Red Cross will be supporting the shelter with cots.
