Venice City officials today accepted an engineer’s reports, saying it may not be economically feasible to restore the former winter home of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Meaning the long abandoned Circus Arena may be a step closer to be torn down. The Herald-Tribune reports the 5-acre tract near the Intracoastal Waterway and Venetian Waterway Park could be opened for economic redevelopment.
