It seems like this kind of story is becoming a daily occurrence but another arrest has been made regarding child pornography. A Venice man is in the Sarasota County Jail, accused of possessing child pornography. Investigators found the IP address of 49-year-old Edward McManis and linked to downloaded files containing child porn. They found over 100 files after a search of McManis’ home. He has been charged with 40 felonies and the investigation remains open.
