The Charlotte County School District’s got a new app that may make it a bit easier on parents getting kids ready for the bus ride to school….

It’s called “Here Comes the Bus.” NBC2 reports parents can see exactly where their school bus is, for getting the kids out the door in the morning and when they’re headed home at the end of the day. The app is based on the district’s GPS tracking system. There is a small one time charge for the version that includes notifications, but there is also free version that can be accessed from internet enabled devices. There is security in place–the app can’t be used unless you have a school code and student ID number.
