Nine corrections officers have been placed on administrative leave, while an investigation done into the death of an inmate at the Charlotte County Correctional Institution. NBC2 reports Matthew Walker died April 11th. It’s being reported that a female officer slapped Walker while he was in hi cell, and that other officers got involved, and Walker was dead. Two state agencies are investigation what happened.
