Passenger traffic at Charlotte County Airport increased 60% from 2010 to 2011, Charlotte County Airport Authority.
In a release yesterday, the authority said more than 291-thousand people left or arrived throughCharlotte County Airport. The airport’s busiest airline is Direct Air, which was up up 53% from 2010 traffic. Allegiant Air, saw a 70% increase. Traffic in 2011 is up 126% from 2009, when just over 129-thousand passengers travelled through Charlotte County Airport
