The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office will pay special attention to traffic enforcement at these locations from July 29 – August 4.
SPEED ENFORCEMENT:
Edgewater Blvd. (Port Charlotte)
Sandhill Blvd. (Deep Creek)
TRAFFIC LIGHT/STOP SIGN ENFORCEMENT:
US 41 and Murdock Circle (Port Charlotte)
I75 and US 17 (Punta Gorda)
According to the Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles, Charlotte County has 12 vehicle deaths so far this year; there were 13 deaths this same time last year.
