Officials with the Charlotte County Public Schools say the just concluded legislative session, was “education friendly.” Mike Riley, Community Liaison with Charlotte County Public Schools says one good note from the legislative session was that teachers will receive a much needed pay raise. He says the raise will be collectively bargained with the teachers union.
