Domestic partners may now have certain privileges only afforded to spouses until recently, including having a say in medical and burial arrangements. To register as domestic partners, pick up a packet in the city clerks office at Venice City Hall, 401 W. Venice Ave., Monday – Friday, between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Take the packet home to fill out the application, then make an appointment with the clerk’s office to submit the application and receive identification cards.
