Charlotte County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit has an open arrest warrant for a man who shot a repo man.
CCSO said 36 year old Raul Romero shot at a driver on Saturday afternoon, who went to Romero’s home to repossess his girlfriend’s vehicle. They say the driver was not seriously hurt in the shooting, but that they are looking for Romero. They said he is 26 year old Arazay Gonzalez’s boyfriend. She was arrested on Friday night when police got a warrant and called out SWAT to their home on Horseshoe Road around 8 p.m. Gonzalez was busted after SWAT found what CCSO called an elaborate marijuana grow operation, and deputies said more charges could be filed.
