The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office says a domestic dispute has caused injuries at a home on Floral Lane in Port Charlotte.
However, the office calls this an isolated incident. It says it has identified and found everyone immediately involved.
Deputies arrived this morning to find a 23-year-old man and a child apparently injured.
The man went to Lee County, while the child and the child’s mother went to a local hospital.
Deputies learned a second man had run from the house after a fight. That man surfaced a short time later a block away at a house on Dalton Boulevard. He had an injury from a dog bite and also went to a local hospital.
Detectives and crime scene personnel remain on the scene.
