The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office watches for speeders in Port Charlotte next week.
Starting Monday, deputies heavily enforce the speed limit on all of Melbourne Street, and on El Jobean Road between Highway 41 and Murdock Circle.
The sheriff’s office also enforces traffic lights and stop signs at two intersections in Port Charlotte: Highway 41 and Midway Boulevard, and Veterans Boulevard and Atwater Street.
