The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has deputies lined up along a couple roads to enforce the speed limit.
This week, expect extra radar guns along Kings Highway in Port Charlotte between Highway 41 and Sandhill Boulevard, and State Road 776 in Englewood and Port Charlotte between David and Toledo Blade Boulevard.
Also expect heavier traffic light enforcement at two intersections in Port Charlotte: Highway 41 and Midway Boulevard, and Kings Highway and Veterans Boulevard.
