SPEED ENFORCEMENT:
Entire length of Bermont Rd. (Punta Gorda)
SR 776 (Englewood)
TRAFFIC LIGHT/STOP SIGN ENFORCEMENT:
US 41 and Cochran Blvd. (Port Charlotte)
Kings Hwy. and I-75 (Port Charlotte)
According to the Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles, Charlotte County has 15 vehicle deaths so far this year; there were 14 deaths this same time last year.
