The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office will pay special attention to traffic enforcement at these locations from September 2 – 8.
SPEED ENFORCEMENT:
Kings Hwy. (Port Charlotte)
Rotonda Blvd (Englewood)
TRAFFIC LIGHT/STOP SIGN ENFORCEMENT:
US 41 and Port Charlotte Blvd. (Port Charlotte)
SR 776 (McCall Road) and San Casa Blvd. (Englewood)
According to the Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles, Charlotte County has 15 vehicle deaths so far this year; there were 14 deaths this same time last year.
