The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office looks for speeders in two places next week.
It has deputies enforcing the speed limit more carefully on Tamiami Trail in Punta Gorda between Jones Loop and Oil Well roads, and on Cornelius Boulevard in Port Charlotte between South McCall Road and Tamiami Trail.
Deputies also plan on enforcing traffic lights in Port Charlotte at two intersections on Tamiami Trail: Midway Boulevard, and Cochran Boulevard.
