The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office today has a warning for all business owners in the area.
It says someone has called and claimed to represent Florida Power and Light.
This person says you have a delinquent FPL account, and if you do not send money somewhere immediately, then the company shuts off the power.
The sheriff’s office calls it a scam, so do not comply with it.
