Last year the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office dressed teddy bears for Salvation Army needy kids. This year, Sheriff’s Clerk Mary Ann Sena has 50 Christmas stockings that deputies and other department employees will be filling with toys, school supplies, small books or other gifts for needy children age 10 and younger. The stockings will be given to the Salvation Army on Dec. 19.
