CCSO and Wal-Mart loss prevention teamed up for a 2nd Operation RECEIPT yesterday.  They busted 6-people between 1 and 7p.m. at the Wal-Mart Super Center on Taylor Road in Punta Gorda.  RECEIPT stands for Rapidly Engaging Criminal Entities Involving Property Thefts.  During the six hour period, three juveniles were issued Notices to Appear on charges of retail theft.  Three adults were arrested and booked at the Charlotte County Jail for retail theft.   In October, the Sheriff’s Office and Wal-Mart personnel conducted the first Operation RECEIPT at the Wal-Mart Super Center in Murdock.  During both the October operation and this most recent one, deputies issue a “corporate” trespass notice to those who were arrested.  This corporate notice applies to all four Wal-Mart locations in Charlotte County.
