The investigation continues into yesterday’s brush fire in Charlotte County.
It happened along I-75 south, and it tied up afternoon traffic near Kings Highway.
WZVN-TV reports the highway dropped to one lane for the response.
The Forest Service brought a tractor, and Charlotte County Fire and EMS sent personnel.
The fire started between Kings Highway and Harbor View Road.
While it did grow to 10 acres, the fire did not threaten any structures or residences.
