North Port Police continue investigating a vehicle burglary from yesterday at the Publix on South Sumter Boulevard.
Officers on their way to that incident, however, received a call for a carjacking in the Walgreens on North Sumter Boulevard.
Police believe the same man may have committed both crimes. They describe him as a tall white male with short blond hair who wore a blue neon shirt underneath white board shorts.
The suspect stole a vehicle and caused a weapon to injure that person’s hand.
