Police have arrested a Cape Coral man just hours after he got out of jail.

Officers knew Kenneth Pearson might come to Oasis Charter School yesterday. They learned of an ongoing dispute he had with his estranged wife, who works there.

When Pearson arrived, officers confronted him. When they asked him whether or not he had any weapons, Pearson admitted he had two guns in his vehicle.

Police arrested Pearson for possession of a firearm on school grounds. While inside Lee County Jail, he received a no contact order pertaining to his wife.

Following his release shortly after midnight, Pearson began texting her. Officers took him into custody for a second time.
