The man in charge of the Super Boat International Grand Prix says the bridges to Manasota Key will not close during the races at Englewood Beach next weekend.
Race producer Jerry York says both the north and south bridges to the key will remain open, and people can get to the beaches on the barrier reef. However, unless you live there or you can stay at one of the rental properties on Manasota Key, you cannot park on Englewood Beach for the race.
