A BOIL WATER ADVISORY is in effect due to a 16 inch water line break for the AREA BETWEEN ORTIZ BLVD TO RIVER RD ALONG US 41.
If you are in this area, as a precaution, water for consumption should be boiled during the next 72 hour.
It is suggested that all customers boil their water intended for drinking or cooking at a rolling boil for a minimum of one minute. Customers should boil their water until further notice. As an alternative, bottled water could be used.
We will post a “Rescission of the Boil Water Notice” when the advisory has been lifted. The rescission will be posted the same way as this notification.
After service is resumed, please open your faucets for a few minutes to clear your water lines. Do not use the water for washing clothes until the water is running clear.
We will be taking multiple samples throughout the service area as a precaution to confirm that our distribution system remains in compliance.
