Some Port Charlotte residents are a little on edge over a new visitor to their neighborhood. ABC7 reports it appears to be a bobcat, that doesn’t appear to be afraid of people. Florida Fish and Wildlife and Charlotte County Animal Control say trapping the bobcat’s the pest solution, but they say getting that done could cost $600 or more. A less pricey option is spraying the yard of a home with “Scat,” which can repel bobcats. It’s a mix of urine from much larger members of the cat family-like lions.
