Doctors say Bill Nelson no longer has cancer.
The senator’s office has learned this following prostate surgery last week.
Grace Nelson has described her husband as “raring to go,” but he plans on staying home for a few more days at doctors’ request.
The 72-year-old Democrat had the surgery in Washington just days after saying he had prostate cancer.
Nelson said it popped up early during a routine exam, and scans showed no evidence the cancer had spread.
